...its been too long
Life is too busy and interesting to spend it all on social media... but that is no excuse for neglecting my own blog. So, a here couple of updates since the last post!
Bart's custom Tri-Cone guitar
Bart came to me with an idea and a sketch for a 1-of-a-kind engraving on his custom Tri-Cone M-1 made guitar by National Guitars. Honing the concept while staying true to his vision we went from this

to this engraving in nickle silver

and finally this

1-of-1 1954 Vignale bodied Ferrari 375 America
-2026 Pebble Beach First in Class winner and only the 3rd post WWII vehicle to be in the top 4 for Best of Show. Excuisitly restored by Paul Russel and Company.
From a warn original door sill plate, Tig copied the engraving (including some of its quirks to keep it as original as possible) in 1100 aluminum. Because of the length of the engraving Tig had to highly (but reversibly) modify 100+ year old guilloche' engraving equipment to make this project possible.

"...I just received them today and man they look incredible. Truly outstanding work Tig, the way they catch the light just makes the pieces come to life. I can't wait to see them on the car."

"I showed them to the owner today and he was very impressed"

"I look forward to working with you again in the future, hopefully its not too long till we get another project that requires you skillset.
